This was a fantastic idea. My son loves to help me in the kitchen. And this was the safest option. Size is easy to hold and maneuver. Just my son put his hand in the way and pushed too hard to where he cut his finger. So watch your kids closely. But the quality is great holds up in the dish washer. And is sharp enough to it thru a raw potato so ill take it lol
My son is 5 and loves to help me in the kitchen. Of course I don't let him use a knife but his favorite thing to do is cut the veggies and potato's (with a butter knife) but at times he gets frustrated cause the butter knife is so dull he has to saw through it . These have just made him the happiest the pride he has in himself for cutting up dinner veggies is so heart warming. They are sharp enough to cut potato's but don't cut your skin they have zig zag type edges. The apple peeler peels the potato easily but don't have a blade so I don't have to worry. It's the perfect set for your little one to help and feel accomplished. Great size and they are thick plastic they are very durable and don't bend.

This set is just perfect and comes with everything curious little ones need to prepare a meal along side you. The knives can cut fruits and soft veggies with ease while not being as sharp as a metal knife that could seriously hurt little fingers. This set seems durable and is so much safer for tiny hands than regular kitchen knives. The colors are bright and eye catching. They function well, though I would not recommend cutting harder veggies, like raw carrots or potatoes. The gloves may not fit all little hands, but I think as long as you're there helping your little one they're ok without them. If you have a small child who is interested in cooking with you, wanting to engage in meal prep, I think this set is absolutely perfect for them to safely learn along side you in the kitchen. I'm very happy with this set and I highly recommend it.

The product is super nice, I loved it. However, a piece was missing a part to be able to fit it well in the green "mango" of the "potato peeler". The seller's attention was very quick and the person who attended me was kind, the report was lifted for the return and refund process, however, later I had to cancel the request, Since I had bought it as a Christmas gift for my son and ordering a new one would not arrive on time and considering that the rest of the utensils come in excellent condition I decided to keep it to be able to give it away.
The 4 year old I gifted these to LOVE them. She eats more fruit, since she cuts them herself.

Ok, so my purchase was as a gag gift for my brother who cut the end of his thumb off with a regular knife! (I'm that kind of a brother!) That said, I knew of these knives from my grandkids who have them to "help" in the kitchen. They do work albeit less efficiently and don't seem to cut the skin so are pretty safe for kids who want to "help" out.
This was perfect for my toddler to learn safety in the kitchen. He loves helping me cook and these tools made it safe and fun

My 4yo has been helping me in the kitchen for awhile now- setting the table, using the mixer, making sandwiches, etc- but has been wanting to help me do bigger jobs like cooking and chopping. I decided to go with this set as it looked like it had a range of tools and would be easy to clean. I am happy to say that it definitely does!The tools are sharp but not excessively so. If you rubbed your finger over them, they wouldn't cut you (or a child) but with some pressure, they definitely can chop food up.I love that the set came with a glove to help with my anxiety about letting my kid hold the chopping knife, especially as he is just in the beginning stages.I like that most of the tools are made from plastic which makes them super easy to clean because you can just throw them in the dishwasher.I'm not overly impressed with the quality of the set- I find some of the tools (potato peeler, the food picks, and the shape cutters) to feel really thin and cheap- BUT for the price point, I think that quality is reasonable.I would recommend this as a good set to start with for a child that is interested in helping in the kitchen.

Of all the presents that I gave my 6 year old Granddaughter this is the one she was most excited to try out. I still see the need to supervise but the utensils are fairly tame - the peeler tool seems a little sharp so I took it away, at least for a while.It is a good set and my little one is very excited to start helping out making dinners. Maybe next I will get kid's cleaning tools and maybe some "fun" yard work tools - lol.

A good starting place for young kids getting used to helping in the kitchen. Not sharp enough to hurt a kid/toddler but sharp enough that they can help. Easy to clean, and store away.
Got this for my 5yr old who loves to cook. The knives when touched are not sharp but is sharp enough when cutting food. The peeler is cheaply made and doesn't do a good job but everything is great quality. The set is easy to clean.

We received one of these sets years ago for my first born and she loves it. So we needed another for our second. The knives can cut through blocks of cheese, veggies, dough, basically most things. This kitchen set is a wonderful way to introduce your children to working with you in the kitchen. This set includes small safety gloves, a wooden chopper in the shape of a dinosaur, a peeler that does not have metal but is extremely sharp, 3 different size plastic knives, 2 plastic cutting boards, a metal cutting board (that does not have sharp edges), food forks that help you hold food in place while cutting, a bear shaped plastic cut-out for cutting food in the shape of a bear, and 5 other different shaped cut-outs that can cut various food items on the shape of a flower, heart, etc.Kids can safely learn how to chop vegetables and fruit, cut different shapes into pancakes and sandwiches, etc. this site is durable and appears to be well-made. I would caution you that if you have very small children, watch carefully when they use the peeler. Even though it is made from plastic, it is extremely sharp. This is one tool I will put away until my kids are older. Kids can become your little helper in the kitchen with this set! Overall, I would highly recommend this set to others. Knives are all you need. The full set is not necessary. Cutting sheet slips, not good for a four year old. Peeler only works for soft items such as cucumbers. Finger protectors are very awkward for a four year old.

I purchased these for my students to cut fruit & vegetables for our class Thanksgiving meal. THEY ARE SAFE AND STURDY. I would recommend these for children of all ages
I love it! I bought it way too early, we are still expecting, but we are so looking forward to using this set to cook and bake together with our child/children! The quality seems to be absolutely fine, only the whisk is made from cheap plastic, I'm going to look for a small whisk made from stainless steel or silicone.
